Here are just a few of my favourite go-to resources…

Scootle is a ‘one stop shop’ that provides teachers with access to more than 20,000 digital curriculum resources in the National Digital Learning Resources Network which is managed by Education Services Australia (ESA).  The resources can be searched for by Key Learning Area, resource type and Australian Curriculum outcome.  You are also able to group resources to create units of work or learning sequences which can be shared with colleagues and teaching networks.

Edublogs is a fantastic resource which can be used in technology units or integrated into other areas of learning.  Blogs are a fantastic tool for promoting collaboration and the development of technology literacy.

Freebielicious is a WONDERFUL new blog with a number of contributors from various blogs.  This is a great place to check for free resources – particularly for the Early Childhood area.

Teachers Pay Teachers is an American based forum where teachers sell (and give away) resources from lesson plans to IWB programs and everything in between.  Many of the blogs that I follow (see right hand menu of my homepage under “Blogs I Follow”) use this site to share their ideas and resources.

Teacher’s Marketplace is the Australian Equivalent of Teachers Pay Teachers.  “Teachers know what other teachers want and need. Teacher’s Marketplace® is an open forum for Australian teachers to buy and sell original digital resources and help make education an even more rewarding career.”  It also has heaps of free resources available – just change the search filter 🙂

TES Teaching Resources is where teachers share and download free lesson plans, classroom resources, revision guides and curriculum worksheets.  Over 539,241 free teaching resources to use in your classroom and school today.” I use this often and whilst it can sometimes take some time to find what you are looking for, most of the resources can be adapted to suit your needs.
