ABOUT

My name is Mrs Wansink and I am halfway through my second year of teaching in a beautiful primary school in Canberra, Australia.  I am a life-long learner with a soft spot for spelling and a passion for an inquiry teaching and learning.

I am here to reflect and document my own journey as well as to challenge, encourage and connect with other teachers from all walks of their teaching lives.  This year I would love to hear more from you and hopefully provide other teachers with a place that they can reflect, discuss and share.

    Hi Mrs Wansink,

I will be graduating at the end of this year!

I have been trying to get my head around how many resources I will need over a day, term and year!!

As well as using really useful blogs (like yours) my most recent prac teacher put me on to this new website that I have found really useful and a great time saver.

…just thought you (and your readers) should check it out!

      Hi Sally,
That’s great – good luck with your last little bit of uni 🙂

Sami, I am fairly certain it was you who said that you like Click Clack Cows that Type. The Applicious Teacher is doing a close reading unit on it with her year 2 students. There might be some great resources you could use with your little ones. 😀

I hope this doesn’t get spammed!
I hope you find something you like.
